This minor provides students a foundational understanding of curriculum design, implementation, assessment, and reflection, but does not lead to licensure.
The Middle and Secondary Education (5-12) Non-Licensure Minor is designed for those students who are interested in either teaching in content areas we do not offer licensure in (ex. PE, theater), students who want to work in PreK-12 settings but who do not necessarily want to be licensed teachers (ex. Para-professionals or tutors), or students who see teaching as part of their future but not necessarily in a school setting (ex. Business leadership).
