I got a top-notch education at Fitchburg State which helped me compete in the workforce. The professors in my major pushed me to excel in class and also inspired me with their enthusiasm in lab.

The campus is quieter but no less lovely this time of year.
Today marks the start of the 4th Recruit Officer Course at Fitchburg State, part of our groundbreaking police program. These 18 recruits received their bachelor's degrees on Saturday and now begin an intensive 17-week academy. They were greeted today by President Lapidus, Municipal Police Training Committee Director of Training Andrea Nardone and University Police Chief Cloutier, along with Police Program Director Lane and her staff. In September they will be ready to report for duty at municipal departments in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and will begin their master's degrees.
Happy Graduation Day! Congrats to the Class of 2021 on your tremendous accomplishment. Our virtual undergraduate ceremony (and downloadable program) can be found at fitchburgstate.edu/commencement
