In Their Words...

"When I first enrolled in the program, I wasn't sure what to expect. What I found was a supportive community of faculty and students. The faculty supported my professional interests and helped me incorporate it into my class projects. I was even able to develop projects that were implemented in my job. The program schedule was flexible, which allowed me to work full time. Today, I'm able to use the skills I learned in the program as a Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer."  -Joana Dos Santos

"As an alumnus of the applied communications program at Fitchburg State University, I am able to use my knowledge of communications in my daily work communicating across diverse teams. In addition, I built essential skills in qualitative research which prepared me to pursue a doctorate. The faculty in the program were excellent instructors and mentors who helped me grow professionally and academically."
