Human Resources Management (on-campus)
Degree Overview
The human resources management concentration in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) is designed to provide students with the human resources knowledge necessary to become leaders in human resources. It seeks to develop decision makers with strong analytical skills who are socially responsible, sensitive to cultural diversity and aware of the broadening world market. The on-campus MBA, Human Resources concentration offers both on-campus and 15-week online courses.
Students enrolled in the MBA program may request to enroll in one additional concentration if they are currently enrolled and have a GPA of 3.00 or higher. Students may choose a dual concentration option after their first semester. Students who have been approved for a dual concentration option must complete the course requirements for each concentration. Courses completed can only be counted once towards one concentration. Students approved for a dual concentration will be required to meet the requirements for the catalog year in which their dual concentration is approved.
Dual Concentration Options
The management and human resource management concentrations cannot be combined as a dual concentration option. Therefore, dual concentration options are:
- Management/Accounting
- Accounting/Human Resources Management
Students seeking a dual concentration complete a Dual Concentration Request Form.

“ Although I recently graduated with a bachelor's degree, I was unable to find employment. I approached Joseph E. McAloon and, after discussing the benefits of the MBA program with him, decided to enroll. The program has changed my life. It gave me the chance to meet new people and network, allowed me to learn in a professional environment, and will provide me with new career opportunities. ”–Gregory Fisher
