In compliance with the requirements of Title IX, 34 C.F.R. § 106.45 (b)(10)(D), Fitchburg State University requires and provides, or otherwise ensures, training to personnel serving in the Title IX Complaint and Resolution Process as Title IX Coordinators, Deputy Title IX Coordinators, Administrative Investigator(s), Decision Maker(s), Appellate Officers, and Informal Resolution Facilitator(s).
Title IX Team Training is an ongoing effort. Fitchburg State University is an institutional member of the Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA) and participates in training provided by the Association. In addition the University is a member of the SUNY Student Conduct Institute, and receives training from them as well.
