The minor in sociology provides students with refined approaches and methods of research and a broad understanding of the social world essential for work concerned with human behavior.

The minor in sociology consists of 18 semester hours in sociology. There is a core of 9 semester hours. The remaining 9 semester hours may be selected according to student needs and interests from sociology electives.
