Microsoft Windows upgrades are free for currently enrolled students and can be obtained by following the steps below:

• Open a web browser and navigate to: http://fitchburgstate.onthehub.com
• You will be prompted to sign in with your Fitchburg State email and password

Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus is available for current faculty, staff, and students of Fitchburg State University at no cost. Office 365 ProPlus is a full version of Office, which includes: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, and more. Users can install Office 365 ProPlus on up to five personally-owned PCs/Macs and/or mobile devices. Office mobile applications are accessible on iPhone and Android phones.

How to obtain the software:

Request access to Office 365 ProPlus software by emailing helpdesk@fitchburgstate.edu with the subject line:  “Office 365 ProPlus software request”, and include a contact phone number. A confirmation email and instructions will be forwarded upon verification of your eligibility. 

Go to OnTheHub, then login using your Fitchburg State email address and password.

Select either the Student or Faculty/Staff tab at the top of the page.

Select the software you would like to download.
Note: Be sure you are selecting the appropriate platform—Windows or Mac.

Click Add to Cart.
Note: If you chose the wrong platform for your device, you should see a pop-up window asking if you are sure you would like to add the product to your cart.

Go to the Shopping Cart and check out.

Please be sure to record your license key (which will be highlighted in RED), as it will only be available to you from this site for 30 days.
Tip: Take a screenshot of your license key, then email the screenshot to yourself.

When you are finished shopping, sign out of your account. Click on the drop down arrow next to your login name in the top right corner of the page, then close your browser to complete the logout process

1. Browse to Adobe Creative Cloud

2. Enter your full fitchburgstate.edu email address then click Continue

3. When you're redirected to the Fitchburg State authentication page, enter your full fitchburgstate.edu email address and Falcon Key password then click Sign In

4. Download the Creative Cloud application
   Note: If you receive a popup that says Permission may be required click OK

5. When the download completes, install the Creative Cloud application first

6. Once installation is complete, the applications panel will open—click Install next to any of the applications you want to install on your computer.

A: No, you are no longer required to create an Adobe ID to download and install the Creative Cloud software.

A: You'll be able to access the Creative Cloud subscription until the university’s agreement with Adobe ends and isn't renewed, or you are no longer employed by Fitchburg State, whichever comes first.

A: Yes, if the university's agreement with Adobe expires and isn't renewed, any Creative Cloud applications that you installed using the university's subscription will stop working.

A: When you attempt to login to Creative Cloud or use the software, you'll get a message saying that your login is no longer valid.

1. Using an InPrivate or Incognito browser, go to the Dev Tools page on the Azure website.

2. Click Sign In.

3. Enter your @student.fitchburgstate.edu email address and click Next.

4. If your account isn't recognized, you'll need to create a new account using your Fitchburg State email address:

   1. Click Create one! then click Next.

   2. Enter the verification code that was sent to you in an email, then click Next.

   3. Enter the characters you see, then click Next.

5. On the Academic Verification page, enter your Fitchburg State email address, check the "I agree..." checkbox, then click Verify academic status and accept terms.

6. Click the link in the "Confirming Your Academic Status" email.

7. Search for the keyword Education, then choose Education (preview) from the list to see the software titles available for download.

8. Once you're on the Education Quick Start Pane, you'll see the software title list under the Software menu.
