Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) Through Portfolio

The PLA option allows students the opportunity to have life experiences evaluated as educational experiences and credited toward an undergraduate or graduate degree. Students will pay the current SGOCE per-credit tuition (excluding fees), at a rate of $150.00 per credit for undergraduate and $195.00 per credit for graduate. Visit PLA for more information.

Deposits

Deposits are not refundable.

A deposit of $200.00 is required. The deposit is paid once at the time of acceptance. $85.00 will be credited towards your first semester bill.

A deposit of $150.00 is required for residence hall students and is credited to the student's account at the completion of the housing contract.

Student Accounts

Student Accounts is responsible for billing, issuing refunds to students for credit balances, including those generated from Financial Aid disbursements, and the collection of outstanding Nursing Loans.
