Ricoh Multi-Functional Device Instructions and Video Tutorials

These instructions and videos cover many of the Ricoh MFD's functions including how to release print jobs, scan to email, and make copies. Videos can be watched without sound to accommodate those viewing from on-campus labs.

Printing to a Ricoh MFD

  1. If the Ricoh MFP is powered down, press the far right power button to wake it up.
  2. Swipe your OneCard through the reader mounted on the left side of the machine to login.
  3. Your balance will be shown on screen. Released print jobs will always deduct from your Print/Copy Quota first. The system will only deduct from your Fitchburg Gold if your Print/Copy Quota has been depleted. Press OK to proceed.
  4. Tap the document you want to print so that the box beside it has an X in it. Your total job cost will be shown on the bottom of the screen.
  5. Press the Print button on the lower left of the screen.
  6. Swipe your OneCard through the reader to logout. Your account will be charged upon logout.

Please Note: All print and copy jobs are defaulted to double-sided (duplex) black and white.

Advanced - Printing to a Ricoh MFD

Copying on a Ricoh MFD

  1. If the Ricoh MFP is powered down, press the far right power button to wake it up.
  2. Swipe your OneCard through the reader mounted on the left side of the machine to login.
  3. Your balance will be shown on screen. Released print jobs will always deduct from your Print/Copy Quota first; the system will only deduct from your Fitchburg Gold if your Print/Copy Quota has been depleted. Press OK to proceed.
  4. Press the Copy button to the left of the screen.
  5. Place document to be copied on the glass face down or in the document feeder face-up.
  6. Press the green Start button.
    1. If copied from glass, place additional page(s) on the glass and press Start to copy; press # when done copying.
  7. Press OK on the pop-up.
  8. Swipe your OneCard through the reader to logout. Your account will be charged upon logout.

Advanced - Copying on a Ricoh MFD

Scanning a Document to your Gmail Account on a Ricoh MFD

  1. If the Ricoh MFP is powered down, press the Energy Saver button to wake it up.
  2. Swipe your OneCard through the reader mounted on the right side of the machine to login.
  3. Your balance will be shown on screen. Released print jobs will always deduct from your Print/Copy Quota first; the system will only deduct from your Fitchburg Gold if your Print/Copy Quota has been depleted. Press OK to proceed.
  4. Press the Scanning button located to the left side of the screen.
  5. Place document to be scanned on the glass face down or in the document feeder face-up.
  6. Press the "Search Dest." button at the top middle of the screen.
    1. Press the "Email Address" button on the left and type in your Falcon Key user name.
    2. Then press the "Start Search" and select your email address.
  7. Press the large green "Start" button on the machine to start scanning.
  8. Swipe your OneCard through the reader to logout. Your account will be charged upon logout.
