Summer Overnight Orientation Session I

About This Event

Our Summer Orientation programs are designed to prepare our incoming Falcons to get off to a great start in their time at Fitchburg State. These activities will familiarize you with what to expect from your on-campus experiences, from the classroom to the campus center, whether you're living in one of our residence halls or commuting. You will also learn about the array of support services we have created to help you achieve all of your goals at the university.

The following overnight orientation dates are:

  • Session I: June 8 - June 9
  • Session II: June 11 - June 12
  • Session III: June 15 - June 16

One-Day Orientation Sessions:

  • Thursday, July 16
  • Tuesday, August 4
  • Thursday, August 6

Please note: There is currently heavy roadwork in downtown Fitchburg. Water Street is currently closed, or may be just opening back up, depending on when you get in the area. Depending on where you are coming from, these road closures and detours may affect your travel time and arrival. Please plan accordingly and allow extra time for your commute. Consider taking Route 13 (past the Marshalls and HomeGoods) to John Fitch Highway, if you are looking for an alternative route.
