Faculty/Staff Mobile Printing

Mobile printing enables you to send print jobs securely from your mobile device to a Ricoh multi-functional device (MFD).

Once the job is sent, you will have twelve hours to release the document from the "Follow You" queue on any department Ricoh MFD.

How to Print from Your Device

There are three ways to print from a mobile device. Please note: Email print is the only option available when printing from off campus.​

Email Print

  1. Email your document to:
  2. You'll receive an email (typically in under five minutes) when your document is ready to print.
  3. Log into any department Ricoh MFD across campus by swiping your OneCard. Select the "Follow You" button. You'll see your print job in the queue, and from there you can print the email and any attachments.

Email Print Requirements

  • Accepts widely used file formats (e.g. JPEG, DOCX, PDF, etc.) only.
  • There is a 20MB file size limit per email.
  • Paper size and duplexing options are not available.
  • You must convert iOS native application documents (e.g. Pages, Keynote, etc.) and Google Docs before emailing them.

Mobility Print

Print from any Windows, MacOS, Chrome OS, iOS, or Android device. Select your device type from the list below for instructions on how to use Mobility Print:

Mobility Print Requirements

  • Mobility print is only available on the University network.
  • Accepts widely used file formats (e.g. JPEG, DOCX, PDF, etc.) only.
  • Only available where the “Open In…” function is available.
  • You must convert iOS native application documents (e.g. Pages, Keynote, etc.) and Google Docs before printing via Mobility Print.

Web Upload Print

  1. Navigate to the mobile printing website.
  2. Login with your Falcon Key.
  3. Select “Web Print.”
  4. Select “Submit a Job.”
  5. Select the queue:
    • papercut\StaffPrintBW (virtual)—for departments with a black and white Ricoh MFD
    • papercut\StaffPrintColor (virtual)—for departments with a color Ricoh MFD
  6. Select your options and upload your document
  7. Visit a Ricoh MFD to release the print job by opening the "Follow You" button off the main page
