Re-dedication of the Children's Literature Collection to Professor Emerita Lillian Tater

Please join the Amelia V. Gallucci-Cirio Library and the university community as we honor the life, career, and enduring legacy of Professor Emerita Lillian A. Tater.

The ceremony will include a formal rededication of the collection, the unveiling of a memorial plaque, and reflections on her remarkable contributions to Fitchburg State and the surrounding community.

Last year, an alumnus brought the 1976 dedication of the collection to the library's attention. The original plaque had been lost during the renovation and passed out of institutional memory. This event is intended to restore the memory of Professor Tater and her contributions to Fitchburg State.
