Instructors: For courses offered under a single CRN—including courses with a built-in lab, clinical, or other component—use all scheduled meeting days and the class start time to determine the final exam date and time. For courses with separately scheduled components under multiple CRNs, use only the lecture schedule—not the lab, clinical, or other component—to determine the exam schedule. For example:
- A single-CRN course that meets M/W/F at 8 a.m. will have its final exam on Friday at 8 a.m.
- A course with a lecture CRN meeting M/W at 8 a.m. and a separate lab CRN meeting on Thursday will have its final exam on Monday at 8 a.m.
If your class meets in two different rooms, the exam will be scheduled in the room used for the first class meeting of the week. If that room is a lab, the exam will be scheduled in the other room used by the class.
Students: If two or more of your exams are scheduled during the same exam block, please arrange an alternate, mutually convenient exam time with one of your course instructors.
