The fall courses cover topics including New England bird migration, the art of decluttering, a review of the role of recent Supreme Court cases, and autumn nature hikes in North Central Massachusetts.

Offerings will include an an introduction and exploration of common artificial intelligence platforms, how the U.S. was governed through the Great Depression and World War II, and the basics of novel writing.

The apartment-style residences will serve the university’s expanding graduate population, including international students.

The recognition speaks to the quality of online courses and the care that faculty take to make sure their courses provide a unique experience for students that promotes engagement and rigor.

The university has more than 3,000 students in graduate classes this semester, with approximately 80% being taught online.

Goncalves, who plans to complete his MBA in 2023, was accepted into the Rhode Island Foundation's Equity Leadership Initiative.

The university was recognized for exemplary course design and practices.

This spring, the Lowell Teacher Academy, in partnership with Fitchburg State, is offering a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Educational Leadership and Management, a non-licensure program, for Lowell Public School staff interested in becoming administrators. 

The agreement is designed to widen online learning opportunities for students, increasing access and affordability while also maintaining consumer protections.
