Counseling Services - Information for Veterans

US Flag

Fitchburg State University and the Counseling Services Office continue to fulfill our commitment to our student veterans. In that spirit, we want to remind student veterans that the Counseling Office is a free, private, and confidential service where clinicians are available to assist with personal concerns that arise during a student’s enrollment at the University.

Additionally, the University has partnered with the Bedford, MA Veterans Administration Medical Center to offer the VITAL (Veterans Integration to Academic Leadership) program on our campus for student veterans whose needs may also be fulfilled by this resource. VITAL offers an impressive array of support services for student veterans and can be accessed through the Veterans Center located in Thompson Hall or by contacting Alisa Bennett or Alexander Whitelaw.
