HR: Campus Safety Overview

About This Event

The University Police Department will be providing a two-hour seminar on Campus Safety. This seminar is recommended for all employees, and especially for those within their first year of employment with the university or those who haven’t had a refresher within the last two years. This is the second time this academic year that the University Policy Department has partnered with Personnel Services to offer this training. We have a larger venue this time and can accommodate more interested employees.

In this seminar, Fitchburg University Chief of Police Michael Cloutier and his team will use a highly interactive process so you can develop a stronger understanding of campus safety at Fitchburg State University, including campus safety procedures, preventing targeted violence, police procedures and personnel, and organizational culture.

If you are interested in attending this seminar, please discuss your availability to attend with your supervisor and sign up at the following link.

Once you are signed up you will receive a personal invitation to the event for your calendar.

If you have any questions about this upcoming event, please contact Barb Malone in the Personnel Services Department at bmalone7@fitchburgstate.edu or X3851.
