This is a Fitchburg State University Alert. FSU Police are currently monitoring an active law enforcement operation being conducted by the City of Fitchburg Police Department near Simonds Hall on Willow Street.
At this time, there is no known threat to the campus itself, but we are issuing this notice out of an abundance of caution due to the proximity of the activity.
Avoid the Willow Street area.
If you are in Simonds Hall or reside in a nearby residential building, stay inside until further notice.
