Students nominated for Kennedy Center theater awards
Numerous members of the cast and crew of "Our Reckoning" have been nominated for the prestigious Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival awards, including a special recognition to the student writers for their original work.

New pacts with Husson University allow Fitchburg State students to complete two degrees in less time
Through the agreements, Fitchburg State students can complete their bachelor’s degrees in biology or chemistry along with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, or their bachelor’s degree in exercise and sports science along with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, on an accelerated schedule. This will save students a full year of study.

Moot Court team heading to national tournament
The competition features teams of students arguing opposing sides of a legal issue, as in an appellate court proceeding. The competitors make oral arguments and respond to questions from a panel of judges, as well as submit written briefs.
