Choral concert to be performed Tuesday, May 9
The program will include pop, musical theater, Renaissance, folk songs, spirituals, Baroque, R&B, and avant-garde selections.
Jazz and modern band the Fitchbyrds perform Monday, Dec. 5
The Fitchbyrds is open to all students and faculty, with a focus on providing a space where students can play together without restricting instrumentation.
University and high school choirs present Choral Kaleidoscope
The Fitchburg State University choirs will be joined by voices from local high school groups when the campus presents its “Choral Kaleidoscope” concert in December.
University Choir and Christ Church Choir present joint concert Nov. 6
The combined choirs' performance will be conducted by Fitchburg State Assistant Professor Jonathan Harvey, accompanied by Robert Potterton III on organ, Hildy Schilling on violin, and Lishan Tan on the harp.
University welcomes the Pharos Quartet on Nov. 7
The quartet includes Fitchburg State faculty members Amy McGlothlin and Jennifer Bill, as well as musicians Emily Cox and Zach Schwartz.

Bequest will support music education
The Helen E. Hornsey Music Education Fund was created to ensure private instruction is available for students, faculty, alumni and community members, and tomorrow’s music teachers have expansive knowledge with which to guide their students.
