Greek Life

Fitchburg State University is home to two National Fraternities and three National Sororities on campus. The organizations are overseen by two governing boards, Greek Council and Panhellenic. Students involved in Greek Life are active students in many other clubs and organizations on campus, many of them displaying tremendous leadership roles.

Greek Life is about learning about yourself, being a leader, community service, and making lifelong friendships.

Mission Statement

Greek Council's mission is to create a strong sense of self and leadership through academic achievements, involvement in campus and community life, while creating lifelong friendships.

Greek Council meets every Thursday to bring all 5 Greek Organizations together to discuss and plan both campus and community involvement, including community service. Every October, Greek Council is home to "The Children's Halloween Party," an event in which the Greek Organizations at Fitchburg State give back to the community by hosting a safe and fun filled Halloween event for children around the community.
