Make a Difference

The Falcon Community Outreach Center (formerly known as the Volunteer Center) was established to help organizational charities empower people to build a better community and maximize collaboration between Fitchburg State, the surrounding community, and its constituents.

Students, faculty, and staff collaborate to provide real world experiences so students understand how all citizens have a responsibility to work towards building stronger communities.

Our goal is to engage and serve educators, public and private organizations, community groups, businesses, health organizations and governmental agencies, to make a difference in our community and beyond. We offer many volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

Alternative Spring Break

Participate in a long-standing tradition of traveling on spring break to assist Habitat for Humanity with the construction of houses for people in need. Embark on a rewarding experience you’ll always remember.
