Game Design Studio Postmortem
3:30pm - 5:00pm Antonucci Science Complex | Randall Lecture HallAbout This Event
Game Studio is a capstone course for Game Design majors. It is a full-time, semester-long experience in which students work in teams to plan, design, develop, test, and prepare for publication a significant game project, in an environment that closely mirrors a professional game studio.
The Post Mortem will include a showcasing of their games: Precursor and Secrets of the Jester, discussion of their development process, and a Q&A with the audience. Refreshments will be served.
Featured Games:
- Precursor - In Precursor, you are a young, brazen tomb raider who steals valuable artifacts and is on a mission to explore a newly discovered hidden temple located in Indonesia. This single-player, first-person adventure will have you explore, solve puzzles, traverse the environment using advanced parkour techniques, and find an ancient artifact hidden deep within the temple. Producer: Parker Stearns
- Secrets of the Jester - Upon getting hired by the circus, you find a mysterious mask with extraordinary power and hidden truths. Using the mask, you must commune with the spirits of performers that came before you to explore the circus, solve puzzles, and help uncover the mystery of the circus. Producer: CJ Giannino
