Fitchburg Civic Days: 4th of July Parade

8:30am - 12:00pm Downtown Fitchburg

About This Event

The city's annual 4th of July parade will run from Summer Street to the Upper Common downtown. Fitchburg State will have a group marching in the Fitchburg 4th of July Parade. We will have the Admissions golf cart and one of the Fitchburg State vans. We will have candy and silicone bracelets to throw to the crowd. Freddy the Falcon, students and alumni will be joining the fun and we hope you will too!

On July 4th, we gather in front of the St. Bernard's Activity Center around 8:30/9 a.m. to stage for the parade (you can park in the Dutch Kitchen or ICU parking lots). The parade starts at 10/10:30 a.m. and it goes from St. Bernard's up to the Boulder in the center of town. Since we are one of the first groups in the parade, we are done by noon and we will give people rides back to the start.
