In TRIO SSS, assessment is the foundation for how we make decisions about what services we provide. It is a tool we use to measure our successes.
For example, based on our pre- and post-test results over the past two years for our Financial Literacy workshop, we learned that a combination of of videos, activities, and guest speakers were necessary for students to fully grasp student loan borrowing. That's assessment at work!
