Each year, the library recognizes a student employee who has gone above and beyond to aid our mission of supporting students and faculty in teaching and scholarship. We choose a student whose professionalism raises the bar of professionalism for all of their peers. This person treats each user with respect and ensures that they have found the help they were looking for.
The Library is honored to award the 2025 Amelia V. Gallucci-Cirio Outstanding Student Employee Award to Mackenzie Dodge.
Mackenzie is a senior Math major who will be graduating in the Fall of 2025. Mackenzie was hired in September of 2023 to work the front desk of the library. Since then, she has worked across all of the departments in the library including technical services where she prepares our books to go on the shelves, gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience, which has made her a valuable member of our team.
