Congratulations Linda LeBlanc!

Congratulations to our Systems & Digital Learning Technologies Librarian, Linda LeBlanc, on an amazing thirty years of service at the Amelia V. Gallucci-Cirio Library!

Linda has served in many roles during her tenure at the Library starting as a Circulation Assistant in 1993 to then overseeing the Access Services Department in 2000. She transitioned to a new role of E-Learning & Instruction Librarian to help the Library support the institutions quickly growing graduate and distance programs.

Linda jumped into her entirely new role of Systems & Digital Learning Technologies Librarian starting in 2021 at a time when the Library was building its virtual infrastructure in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.  

In her current role, Linda leads efforts to improve existing technologies and incorporate new technologies to provide innovative Library services for the university community. She supports library staff in the adoption of new and emerging technologies. She supports the University's online learning and extended campus partners and programs, and serves.

She also teaches library instruction classes on campus, at our extended campus sites and online. Additionally Linda as served as the Library's Program Chair for multiple tenures and is currently the president of the Fitchburg chapter of MSCA.

The Amelia V. Gallucci-Cirio Library staff would like to thank and congratulate Linda on her amazing work and legacy here at the Library and across the Fitchburg State University campus.
