Celebrate Disability Pride

July is Disability Pride Month
Disability Pride Month is an annual observance in that commemorates the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and celebrates people with disabilities by promoting disability culture and visibility.
People with disabilities constitute the largest minority group in the United States, making up an estimated 20 percent of the total population. Disability Pride Month is a time to recognize the history, achievements, experiences, and struggles of people with disabilities. It affirms that disability is a natural and valuable part of human diversity—not a deficit or condition to be fixed.
