Celebrate Arab American Heritage Month
National Arab American Heritage Month (NAAHM) is celebrated every April to recognize the achievements, cultures, and histories of the over 3.7 million Americans with roots in 22 nations across the Middle East and North Africa.
Established nationally in 2017, the month combats stereotypes and promotes understanding through cultural events, education, and community celebrations.
We encourage you to learn more about Arab culture, history, and the accomplishments of Arab-Americans by visiting both our print display located on the Library's first floor, and a digital ebook display located at http://tiny.cc/NAAHMEbooks
