2025-2026 Community Read Begins!
Traditionally structured around a single book title, this year's Community Read looks a little different! Beginning this academic year, the Community Read is instead engaging with a wide variety of media all on a shared theme. This year's theme, voted on by members of the greater Fitchburg Community, is The Future of Food.
The community has eagerly anticipated the first event of this year's Community Read cycle, and it is finally here! The community is invited to take part in a paired honey and cheese tasting on Wednesday, November 15 at 4:30 PM. The event, led by Dr. Amy McGlothlin, Assistant Professor in the Humanities Department at Fitchburg State Univeristy, is sponsored by the President's Office, and will take place in President's Hall on the Fitchburg State Campus.
The event is free and open to all community members, but space is limited! Be sure to register today to secure your spot. For full event details, check out the event page on our website.
