The Center for Faculty Scholarship and Amelia V. Gallucci-Cirio Library invite you to join us as we celebrate Professors David Svolba and Rachelle Dermer's recently published books. 

The event will be held on Wednesday, September 23 at 3:30pm in the University Archives (S03-Hammond Hall). Light refreshments will be served.

This event is free and open to the public. 

David Svolba, PhD, Philosophy, Humanities

Professor David Svolba (Humanities) will discuss his two recently published books  Consciousness: An Interdisciplinary Guide (Broadview, 2026) and Arguments in Medical Ethics (Fitchburg State University, 2026)

Dr. Svolba is currently the featured author for the Library's Faculty Spotlight Series. Stop by the Library to check out the display, as well as other faculty works in our Faculty Collection bookcase at the Library's front entrance.
