Shannon K. Fitzgerald '14, MSN, BS, RN, CV-BC, CCRP, ACSM-CEP

is a finalist for the American College of Sports Medicine Certified Professional of the Year award. Although she is currently practicing as a nurse, she has continued to actively engage in her role as an exercise physiologist. She shared that her education in Exercise Science at Fitchburg State has been a cornerstone in her daily work, and she is deeply grateful for the foundational knowledge and inspiration she received there. She would like to extend my sincere thanks to Fitchburg State and the professors in the Exercise Science department. Their dedication and passion for the field have instilled in her a strong commitment to professional organization involvement and the importance of lifelong learning.
