Courtney B. Gustafson '12

released her first book (Poets Square: A Memoir in Thirty Cats) with Penguin Random House and it debuted on the NYT Bestseller List. Gustafson graduated with a BS in English, with a focus on professional writing. While she was at Fitchburg State she wrote for the student newspaper, wrote for and edited the student literary journal, completed an internship at a local newspaper, worked as a teaching assistant, earned scholarships for creative writing, read at open mics, studied literature and writing, and was part of the Sigma Tau Delta English honor society.
