was highlighted in the The Boston Globe's Salute to Nurses. Farrar, a labor and delivery nurse at Emerson Health, was nominated by a patient's family member, moved by Farrar's selflessness and compassion. Farrar had sacrificed spending time with her own family on Christmas Eve night and Christmas morning to stay by her patient's side after experiencing a loss.
