Submit your creative writing by March 8!
We are soliciting public readings of creative writing pieces including poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction of durations between 30 seconds and 4 minutes.
If selected, these pieces will be performed publicly at the Creative Writing Showcase at our Undergraduate Conference on Research and Creative Practice to be held on April 18, 2024.
We will accept the best submissions of a range and variety of themes.
- All registered Fitchburg State undergraduate students are eligible to submit work for the Creative Writing Showcase.
- The invited audience for the conference includes university students, faculty, and members of the community.
- Submissions will be judged through a blind review by members of the English Studies faculty.
- This is a competitive submissions process; meaning that not all submissions will be accepted into the Creative Writing Showcase.
