Moot Court team heading to national tournament
The competition features teams of students arguing opposing sides of a legal issue, as in an appellate court proceeding. The competitors make oral arguments and respond to questions from a panel of judges, as well as submit written briefs.

Tarentino Charitable Fund supports Police Program students
The Officer Ronald Tarentino Jr. Charitable Fund has pledged more than $7,000 to Fitchburg State University’s police program to help defray the cost of personal safety protection vests for these future officers.
