Research Interests:

Green Manufacturing
Simulation of manufacturing processes such as extrusion and casting to calculate thermal energy loss and transient temperature profiles of waste heat.
Validation of models with experimental data.
Experimental determination of the costs and benefits of energy recovery and reuse.

Current Projects:

Sustainable Energy, Manufacturing Renaissance and Curricular Innovation - (ongoing project in collaboration with Dr. Sam Basu at William Paterson University, NJ)
