Blackboard Course Request Form

All courses listed in the Banner student information system will have a corresponding Blackboard course site automatically created with students automatically enrolled.  There is no need to complete a request for official university course offerings.

If you are teaching a course, but it is not listed in the "My Courses" section of Blackboard it is likely that you are not officially assigned to the course in Banner. Please work with your department to be designated as the instructor. Banner changes are reflected in Blackboard within twelve hours (usually much less).

Faculty or staff at the university may use this form to request Blackboard sites for courses that are not presently offered (to "park" a course), development of future courses, training, special projects, committees and student groups.  Please note that content uploaded to "development" course sites must be copied to the official Blackboard course site generated for the semester.  Details on this process can be found on the Copy/Reuse Course Content page.

Once your request has been processed, an email will be sent to you with information on how to access your new Blackboard site. Requests are typically processed within 1-2 business days.
