Fall Semester Highlights

Club Hammond

Club Hammond is part of Fitchburg State's Orientation Program. It takes place the first night Freshmen and Transfer Students move in. Starting at 8pm, Student Development along with assistance from clubs and organizations such as SGA and FAB fill Hammond Hall with music, free food, games, novelties, and many more giveaways. The event is designed to ensure students have a fun and positive first night on campus.

Rock the Block

Rock the Block is one of the most popular events of the year. Held on the first Thursday of the Fall semester, Highland Ave is blocked off from traffic and filled with numerous booths and tables run by both student organizations, departments on campus, and outside vendors. The event gives new and current students the opportunity to see what Fitchburg State has to offer outside of the classroom. Organizations around campus fill their tables with information, sign up sheets, and loads of freebies for students to enjoy.
