Roommate Requests: The Fine Print

Roommate Requests must be mutual. Non-mutual requests will not be considered by the system.

Roommate Requests are not guaranteed. Due to housing demand it's possible that when a student logs in to select a room or when they are placed by housing staff there is not a room remaining that can fit the requested roommate or roommates.

Mutual requests, or "linked students," will be able to select housing for each other. The student with the earliest selection date/time will be able to select a room for all linked students (space permitting).

Mutual requests should communicate/plan ahead. Where do you want to live? Floor? Who has the earliest selection date/time?

Granted roommate requests who select or are placed into a double room should still plan on having a third roommate (expanded occupant). If you are in an expanded occupancy assignment (three students in a designated double room) please read the details surrounding the de-triple process and the status of your room.
