REDI MRPC InternshipsThe Regional Economic Development Institute (REDI) at Fitchburg State invites students to learn about potential paid internship opportunities at the Montachusett Regional Planning Commission (MRPC) at an informational forum Tuesday, March 25 at 3:30 p.m. in Thompson Hall. The university’s Office of Career Services is co-sponsoring the forum with REDI and MRPC.

At the forum, students can find out about local paid internships; learn about building career opportunities; and speak with current and former students about their careers.

“Our career development opportunity forum will showcase the current research and analysis our paid student research interns are conducting at the Fitchburg-based Montachusett Regional Planning Commission, developing their careers, getting paid for what they contribute toward helping the North Central Massachusetts region, and earning valuable credits toward their respective undergraduate degrees,” said REDI Director Joshua Spero, a Fitchburg State faculty member.

The forum is co-sponsored by REDI, MRPC and Fitchburg State’s Office of Career Services. Featured presenters will include Spero, MRPC Executive Director Glenn Eaton, Fitchburg State Career Services Director Erin Kelleher and REDI-MRPC student research interns.
