Free webinar on special education programs to be held Feb. 22

Educators interested in learning about the special education (online/hybrid) graduate degrees and certificates offered at Fitchburg State University are invited to take part in a free webinar at 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22.

The webinar will cover requirements and curriculum, admissions and application requirements and more. Attendees will also be able to have their admission application fees waived.

Fitchburg State has created a student-centered, online/hybrid format for its special education programs. Offerings include online delivery with limited Saturday sessions for select classes to facilitate interaction and collaboration; licensure and non-licensure tracks; student-friendly, highly engaging technological tools to ensure an accessible, rich and rigorous learning experience; 24/7 technical support, self-paced introductory course and student orientation.

Fitchburg State offers seven Master of Education in Special Education degrees, along with graduate certificate programs for behavior analyst and reading specialist (initial licensure).
