Foundation Music Lesson Faculty Recital, Sept. 18

The Fitchburg State University Humanities Department/Foundation Music Lesson program will kick off the academic year with a faculty recital on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. in Kent Recital Hall in the Conlon Fine Arts Building, 367 North St. Admission is free.

Music lesson faculty members April Showers-Michaud (flute), Ning Tien (cello) and Roy Imperio (piano) will perform music by Franz Joseph Haydn, Carl Maria von Weber, Isaac Albeniz, and Astor Piazzolla. The community is invited to join this season-opening concert, and to attend the concert, lecture and guest artist series throughout the year.
