Climate change and flooding is topic of talk on March 29

Climate Change talkHydrologist David R. Vallee will present a talk on recent temperature and precipitation trends and their impact on flood frequency at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 29 in the Randall Lecture Hall in the Antonucci Science Complex, 333 North St. Vallee is hydrologist-in-charge for the NOAA/NWS/Northeast River Forecast Center. Light refreshments will follow.

The talk is sponsored by the Fitchburg Conservation Commission, Fitchburg State’s Office of Finance & Administration and Departments of Environmental Health & Safety, Economics, History & Political Science, Biology & Chemistry, and Earth & Geographic Sciences.
