Biography

Dr. Scott M. Tyner is an Assistant Professor of Education at Fitchburg State University with over 25 years of experience in higher, public, private, and early childhood special education. Dr. Tyner earned his Doctorate in Education in Child and Family Studies from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He held previous positions as Visiting Assistant Professor of Education at Worcester State University; Assistant Professor of Human Services and Rehabilitation Studies at Assumption University; Early Childhood Special Education Consultant in private practice following a long career of direct services to infants, toddlers, young children and their families.
