Celebrate International Education Week.
From November 17-21, join us in a celebration of international education and cultural exchange at Fitchburg State.

Check out the Display Case in the library for a collection of maps, photographs, and texts that highlight Fitchburg State’s faculty-led study abroad locations.

Chartwells has curated a special international menu for each day of international week.
- Monday: Africa - Jollof Rice, Berbere Spiced Chicken & Egg Curry, and Red Ghanaian Bean Stew at lunc
- Tuesday: Asia - Korean favorites like Take a Bao and Kkanpung Saeu at lunch
- Wednesday: South America – Colombian and Peruvian flavors featuring Pollo a la Brasa with Aji Verde Sauce and Lomo Saltado (Peruvian Beef Stir Fry) at lunch
- Thursday: North America – Traditional U.S. Thanksgiving Meal at dinner
- Friday: Europe – Irish Guinness Stew, Colcannon, Dublin Lawyer, and Shepherd’s Pie at lunch

Join us in Hammond 316 for Tea with OIE. Hot drinks and treats from around the world will be provided with different continents highlighted each day of the week.
- Monday: Africa – Experience minty Maghrebi tea from Morocco along with Moroccan baked goods. Drink South African Rooibos tea with tea rusks.
- Tuesday: Asia – Watch flowers bloom in traditional Chinese flower tea and eat sweet Chinese crisp cakes. Sip Korean brown rice tea or Japanese matcha with H-Mart snacks.
- Wednesday: South America – Get a caffeine kick with Yerba Mate from Chile and Argentina and nibble on Don Satur biscuits. Or try Peru’s Purple Corn tea and Brazil’s Bauducco cookies!
- Thursday: North America – Enjoy classic warm apple cider and cider donuts or get into the holiday spirit with hot chocolate and Oreos.
- Friday: Europe – Delight in some Wassail holiday punch or select from our assortment of British teas. Pair with shortbreads and Danish butter cookies.
