The university welcomes Melissa Harris-Perry, the Maya Angelou Presidential Chair at Wake Forest University, for a talk entitled “Need/Want a Community for All? Here’s How We Get There.” Harris-Perry teaches courses on American politics and elections at the intersections of race, place, and gender.
