About This Event
Soul food originated in the Southern United States and is an ethnic cuisine traditionally prepared and eaten by African Americans. The food was highly influenced by the cultures of West Africa and Indigenous people. Soul Food has obtained a distinction from but is aligned with Southern cooking. Come out and get a taste of soul prepared by Chef Tonya D. from North Carolina! Part of our celebration of Black History Month.
The event will include music, readings and storytelling by Sabrina K. Victor, Miss Massachusetts USA 2020.
