About This Event

Black Americans have dealt with police brutality since the origins of law enforcement and Black seeking freedom and equality. The path to building a healthy relationship has been long and tedious. This discussion will look at the criminal justice system’s impact on the Black family, and creating spaces to heal and establish/maintain new relationships built on understanding and trust. Presented as part of the university's celebration of Black History Month.
