Guest Artist Heddi Siebel: April 8th, 3:30 p.m. Ellis White Lecture Hall

Free and open to the public.
Award winning artist Heddi Siebel will give a lecture on her work. She is known for her visual art and printmaking. Siebel's work has been exhibited at The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and the DeCordova Museum. She is the recipient of the Fulbright Scholar Award. Visit Heddi's website to read more about her.

Lina Maria Giraldo Wall Talk: April 17th, 3:30 p.m. Conlon Lobby

The newest display on the Conlon Media Wall are animations by Lina Maria Giraldo, a Colombian born, Boston-based artist focusing on Interactive Storytelling towards social change. A show for gamers and non-gamers, a glimpse of the artistic process essential to the design of digital game worlds.

Dead Mad: April 10th - April 20th

Open to the public.
Free Admission. Wallace Theater (McKay Entrance B).

The Spring 2019 Main Stage Production Dead Mad is a new play written by Peter Anderegg. Directed by Denise Alexander. When Jason Brooks must write an obituary to avoid being haunted by his mother after she escapes Charon the Ferryman, he confronts the fact that he knows almost nothing about her that’s 100% true. Contests & Scholarships

Undergraduate Research Conference: April 18th, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Each year students present their research or creative projects to the entire campus community. Projects are still being chosen for the annual Undergraduate Research Conference, so please stay tuned for a full schedule of events and presentations.

Honors Convocation: April 18th at 2 p.m., Weston Auditorium

This annual ceremony is to recognize student achievement and award scholarship. Guests must RSVP.

Visions 2019: April 24th

Visions is the juried honors showcase of the year's best original student work in the Communications Media Department. The entire campus and local community looks forward to this annual event, which consists of a gallery art exhibition, a film/video screening, and a presentation forum. Visions Poster Contest: Deadline April 5th

Students are asked to submit a poster to design to represent Visions 2019, our annual honors exhibition of student work. The winner will receive a $50 gift card to the Fitchburg State Bookstore

LaCoy Production Fund: Deadline April 12th

Each semester Film/Video students are welcome to apply for the LaCoy Production Fund. $565 in production funds is awarded to the winning script or documentary proposal.
