Certificate Overview
The university offers a 24 credit certificate program in Plastics Technology in cooperation with Jabil Healthcare. The Jabil Molding Institute, located in Clinton, Massachusetts, is a world-class leader in injection molding training. The program is open both to Jabil Healthcare employees and to any other student desiring to learn about injection molding and the manufacturing process involving conversion of raw material into finished parts and products. Course instructors, approved by Fitchburg State University, have extensive backgrounds in the plastics industry.
All courses are completed online using our Blackboard Online Course Management System. Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 to earn the certificate.
